Forward Vision Marketing has long taken pride in our practice of supporting young people who are just beginning their careers. We enjoy partnering with fresh faces who are interested in marketing as a career path and believe we can offer our clients brilliant, cutting-edge and modern ideas. We are excited to announce that we have offered Sydney Ann Shintaffer an internship with Forward Vision, which we believe will be beneficial for her, our business and our clients.
Sydney’s Academic Background of Excellence
Sydney originally hails from West Richland, Washington, where her parents, Herschel and Vickie, raised her along with her older brother, Riley. As a youngster, Sydney enjoyed an active lifestyle that included soccer and basketball. She continued to pursue this passion in college, where she played soccer for the Eastern Washington State Eagles as a freshman. She eventually decided to transfer to Northern State University in North Dakota, where she is currently a junior. She is majoring in Business Management and minoring in Graphic Design, a perfect combination for the marketing industry.
She continues to enjoy athletics, playing on the varsity soccer team for Northern State University, where her coaches and teammates consider her a leader. Her successes on the soccer field include making the honorable mention all-conference team her first season with Northern, followed by making the third team for the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference the next year.
She will begin her senior year at Northern this August, as well as her senior year on the varsity soccer team. She applies the same passion she has for soccer to her work as a team leader and a graphic designer.
Sydney Has a Lot to Offer the Forward Vision Team
Sydney’s enthusiasm for this internship opportunity is matched by the excitement that our team at Forward Vision has for helping her discover her path within the world of marketing. We believe that hands-on learning with our team will help her broaden her skills in management and graphic design.
Sydney has indicated that she is hoping to learn about a number of different marketing skills, including practical management, content management for websites, social media-based graphic art, understanding product data, web page design, search engine optimization, social media management and eBook creation.
Her performance in this internship will provide her with real world learning that will make her a valuable asset to her post-collegiate employer and will benefit the clients that partner with Forward Vision as well. We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship as she learns about marketing and design!
